Win briefed maintenance jobs from UK landlords and letting agents.
FixQuotes brings landlord and letting-agent maintenance jobs straight to your inbox — already briefed, with the customer’s urgency, scope, and access notes attached. You quote when you want to. You pay a referral fee only if you win the work. No subscription, no per-lead fees.
Why contractors join FixQuotes
Pay only on win
No subscription, no per-lead fees, no monthly minimums. We charge a referral fee only when you're awarded the work and the job goes ahead.
Briefed jobs, not raw enquiries
Every job comes with a contractor-ready spec: scope, access notes, photos where supplied, and the customer's urgency. Quote in minutes, not hours.
Landlord and agent customers
Our customers are professional property managers. Repeat work, faster decisions, payment terms that work, and fewer ‘can you do it cheaper?' conversations.
Local jobs, your trade
We dispatch by postcode and trade. Gas Safe engineers see boiler and gas safety jobs. Part P trades see EICRs and rewires. Roofers see roof work. No noise.
How the network works
- 1
Apply
Send your trade, coverage area, and credentials. We respond within two working days.
- 2
Onboard
We verify insurance and the registrations relevant to your trade. You receive our standard quote template and contractor agreement.
- 3
Receive briefed jobs
Jobs in your area and trade arrive by email. Each one comes with a brief, urgency, and a window to quote.
- 4
Win, deliver, get paid
If your quote is selected, you contract directly with the customer for the works. The referral fee is invoiced separately.
Who we onboard
We’re selective about contractors because our customers are professional property managers with statutory obligations. To be considered for the network you need:
- Public liability insurance (typically £2m+)
- Trade-specific qualifications where required by law — Gas Safe registration for gas works, Part P competence for fixed electrical works
- Companies House registration or a trading record of at least 12 months
- Two contactable references from recent landlord, letting agent, or commercial work
- Willingness to provide quotes in our standard format (we provide a template)
If you’re a sole trader without Companies House registration but have strong local references and the right qualifications for your trade, get in touch anyway — we look at the full picture.
Contractor questions
How much is the referral fee?
The fee is a percentage of the awarded job value, scaled to job size and trade. Smaller jobs sit at the lower end. We agree the fee schedule with you in writing during onboarding before you receive any leads.
Do I have to take every job?
No. You see the brief and decide whether to quote. If you don't have capacity, decline — there's no penalty.
Who do I contract with for the work?
You contract directly with the customer (the landlord or property manager). FixQuotes is the introducer. We do not become a party to your contract or to the works themselves.
Do I get paid by the customer or by FixQuotes?
The customer pays you directly for the works, on whatever terms you agree with them. FixQuotes invoices you separately for the referral fee, after the work is completed.
What trades do you cover?
Plumbing and heating (Gas Safe), electrical (Part P), roofing, damp and mould specialists, decorators, carpenters, locksmiths, glazing, general builders, and EICR/EPC assessors. If you offer a related trade, ask us — we may already have demand for it.
What areas do you cover?
FixQuotes is UK-wide. Demand is currently strongest across London, the Home Counties, the Midlands, and the North West. We onboard contractors by postcode coverage area.
How do I know jobs are real?
Every job has a customer behind it — a landlord, letting agent, or property manager — with a real property address, real contact details, and a real maintenance issue. We don't generate synthetic leads.
