Landlord repair quotes without phoning round.
Forward the WhatsApp, the email, or the photo. We turn it into one contractor-ready repair brief and come back with comparable quotes where local supply supports it. Free. No obligation. Your number is never sold to anyone.
- One property or fifty
- Boilers, leaks, roofs, electrics, refurbs
- Free for landlords; contractors pay if they win the job

Why FixQuotes for landlords
Stop chasing trades
Forward the message. We write the brief, chase relevant local options, and tell you if supply is thin.
Know the price is fair
Quotes for the same job, side by side. No more guessing whether two prices include the same work.
Compliance handled at the source
Gas work goes to Gas Safe registered engineers. Fixed electrical goes to Part P competent trades. Relevant insurance and registrations are flagged in the quote pack.
No obligation, ever
Pick a quote, none of them, or use your own contractor. There’s nothing to sign up to.
How It Works
We don’t carry out the works ourselves. We write the job up properly, send it to relevant local trades where supply supports it, and tell you plainly when the honest outcome is a single option, a missing-detail question, or no credible comparison yet.
- 1
Forward the job
Tenant’s message, a photo, or a one-line description, whatever you have.
- 2
We write it up properly
We turn your message into a proper job description, so every trade prices the same job.
- 3
Quotes land in your inbox
Comparable quotes where local supply supports it. If not, you get the useful next step instead.
- 4
You approve, the trade gets on with it
Pick a quote and the contractor schedules it from there. You stay informed.
Without FixQuotes vs. with FixQuotes
What changes for a typical maintenance issue at a let property.
- Tenant calls at 7pm with no hot water
- You phone three plumbers: two voicemails, one ‘I’ll come Saturday’
- Quotes arrive in different shapes, so you can’t compare them
- You worry whether the price is fair or whether they’re Gas Safe
- You still need to update the tenant and decide the next step
- You forward the tenant’s message to FixQuotes
- We write the job up and approach suitable Gas Safe engineers where supply supports it
- Responses come back against the same brief, or we tell you supply is thin
- You see registration, insurance and quote fields where checked
- You approve one, ask for clarification, or use another route
Free for landlords
FixQuotes is free for landlords, letting agents, and property managers. We earn a referral fee from contractors when they win paid work introduced through us.
All works are carried out by independent third-party contractors. FixQuotes is not the contractor and does not perform the works.
Common Questions
Is FixQuotes really free for landlords?
Yes. There is no fee, no subscription, and no minimum spend for landlords. Contractors pay us a referral fee only when they win paid work introduced through us.
Can I use FixQuotes for a single property?
Yes. There is no minimum portfolio size. Plenty of our users own a single rental.
Do you handle out-of-hours emergencies?
Mark the job as urgent and we prioritise the brief. We still avoid promising emergency dispatch until a suitable contractor confirms availability.
What if I already have a tradesperson I trust?
Use them. FixQuotes is for the jobs where you want options or don’t already have a relationship for that trade.
Who does the contract sit with?
Your contract for the work is directly with the contractor you choose. FixQuotes is the introducer; we are not a party to the contract or the work itself.
What about EICR, EPC, or Gas Safety certificates?
We can source quotes for any of these from appropriately qualified trades. The certificate is issued by the contractor, not by FixQuotes.
