Is FixQuotes really free for landlords?
Yes. There is no fee, no subscription, and no minimum spend for landlords. Contractors pay us a referral fee only when they win paid work introduced through us.
Can I use FixQuotes for a single property?
Yes. There is no minimum portfolio size. Plenty of our users own a single rental.
Do you handle out-of-hours emergencies?
Mark the job as urgent and we prioritise the brief. We still avoid promising emergency dispatch until a suitable contractor confirms availability.
What if I already have a tradesperson I trust?
Use them. FixQuotes is for the jobs where you want options or don’t already have a relationship for that trade.
Who does the contract sit with?
Your contract for the work is directly with the contractor you choose. FixQuotes is the introducer; we are not a party to the contract or the work itself.
What about EICR, EPC, or Gas Safety certificates?
We can source quotes for any of these from appropriately qualified trades. The certificate is issued by the contractor, not by FixQuotes.
