This Privacy Policy explains how FixQuotes (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use this website or submit a maintenance quote request.

FixQuotes is a property maintenance quote-sourcing service. We act as the data controller for the personal information you submit to us. You can contact us at hello@fixquotes.co.uk.
2. Information we collect
- Job details — the description of the maintenance job, photos, and the property address or area you provide.
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number, so we can return quotes to you.
- Technical data — anonymous traffic data (e.g. pages visited, device type) via Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, used only to improve the website.
3. How we use your information
- To brief and source quotes from independent local contractors for the job you submit.
- To return quotes to you and discuss the job over phone or email.
- To improve our service and respond to questions or complaints.
4. Who we share it with
We share your job description and contact details only with the independent contractors we ask to quote on your job. We do not sell your details and do not pass them to third parties for marketing.
5. Legal basis
We process your personal information on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR), and our legitimate interest in operating a quote-sourcing service (Article 6(1)(f)).
6. Retention
We retain job and contact information for as long as necessary to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of dispute, typically up to two years.
7. Your rights
You have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@fixquotes.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Cookies
We use only first-party analytics cookies provided by Vercel for performance and audience measurement. We do not use advertising cookies.
